Welcome to Future First Responders of America (FFROA). A national program that gives youth options for a lifetime.
LEOCode4 is a youth and community-based program that focuses on first responder support, empowering youth with the Future First Responders of America Program and the Exclusive K9 program.
The Future First Responders of America (F.F.R.O.A.) program is meant to increase a young person’s potential through activities that emphasis on: Leadership, becoming a Responsible Citizen, Making good choices, and Community Service. It would be considered UNITED STATES signature youth program and has proven to be successful in other first responder agencies nationally.
This program has become an entity whose purpose and endeavors rally around communities through the development youth activities by providing a safe, nurturing place to engage in educational, social, and life-skills development, in addition to guiding youth to avenues that can lead to a successful adult life. It takes a village to raise a child. With the help of programs such as these, especially in rural and under-served communities, our youth can thrive, have a purpose and a place to learn. Some statistics have proven that youth programs give focus and purpose no matter what the socioeconomic status of the youths living situation.
Although this program could potentially provide a pool of future first responders whether it be in law enforcement, fire, paramedical or dispatching, the goal of the program is to create responsible and effective citizens. Youth are mentored and inspired by officials providing them with the tools and life skills needed to assume leadership positions in whatever they choose to do in life.
The program is an opportunity for our youth to participate in a positive program designed for those who would benefit from all we have to offer.
LEOCode4 and the Future First Responders of America program presents the United States a promise and commitment to lead, provide direction, and give mentorship to the youth of this nation with compassion, care and concern.
Academy encompasses exposure and training in all of the topics a First Responder might experience. In addition, other opportunities are given the Cadets based on their want or need. Successful Cadets will graduate with certifications as well as hands on training in a variety of subjects, vocations and be employable as they age out at 18 years of age.
Future First Responders of America is an nation wide organization that provides youth, ages 13 to 18 a chance to experience all types of careers within the scope of a First Responder.
First Responders can be any person or agency that responds. In the public it is seen as Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters or EMS. However our program goes above and beyond that. In fact, FFRA includes EMT, Dispatchers, Forestry Department, CSI, Cyber Security, Drone Pilots, Detention Officers, Animal Control/Livestock, Military, Lifeguard, Fish and Game, Air Law Enforcement, Search and Rescue, Wildlife, FEMA, CERT, and more.
Youth individuals apply as a recruit and become Cadets after they successfully complete Academy.
Youth between the ages of 13 and 18 are exposed to many things. We provide a positive learning and training environment.
Future First Responders of America (FFROA) program helps provide experience, life skills, direction, mentorship and leadership for youth. Youth gain a sense of self-worth to themselves and the community with outreach/internship opportunities. They also gain experience as being part of a team in a first responder type environment.
Each individual (or Cadet) gets the chance to experience all aspects of being a responder in a wide variety of occupations. After completing Academy, the Cadet will have the opportunity to have internships with as many agencies as they choose.
The Cadet then has the ability to earn rank and position within the organization. This can lead to many other endeavors for the individual.
Whether or not the Cadet continues with FFROA or not, they are given the tools they need for success in life. If they chose to continue in a career in becoming a first responder, they have the training, experience and skills necessary backed up with certifications that are obtained in their tenure with FFROA.
